James Gellately-Smith

James Gellately-Smith has extensive work experience in technology roles, particularly as a CTO. James worked at Koru Kids as the CTO starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they served as the CTO at Triptease from January 2017 to July 2020. From July 2015 to December 2016, they held the position of CTO at VouchedFor. Before joining VouchedFor, they worked at THE NET-A-PORTER GROUP, where they were the Head of Technology for NET-A-PORTER from April 2014 to June 2015 and the Head of Software Development from July 2013 to April 2014.

James also has a significant history of employment at BSkyB, starting in 2005. James'sroles at BSkyB include Principal Software Engineer, Sales & Service (June 2012 to July 2013), Lead Engineer (July 2010 to June 2012), Senior Solutions Architect (April 2008 to January 2011), and Senior Team Lead & Strategist (December 2005 to April 2008). Before joining BSkyB, they worked as an Independent Software Consultant at Easynet from February 2005 to December 2005. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as Director at TaylorSmith Ltd, an IT consultancy specializing in business system software design, from an unspecified start date to December 2004.

James Gellately-Smith attended Oxford Brookes University from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Second Class Honors (2.1) in Computer Science.
