Doug Hanes

Doug Hanes is the Past Chair at Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, and has previously held positions as VP Sales at Unishippers and Commercial Account Executive at Mediacom Communications.

Doug has over 25 years of experience in the shipping industry, and has been with Unishippers for more than half of that time. Doug was responsible for providing customers with significant savings on more than 6.5 million shipments last year.

Before Unishippers, Doug worked as a Commercial Account Executive at Mediacom Communications. In this role, they were responsible for identifying businesses throughout northern Indiana that would benefit from fiber solutions for their communication/connectivity needs. Mediacom invested over $18M the past 24 months to dramatically improve the performance of its network by creating a fiber ring that runs through the entire state of Indiana, providing a new level of redundancy with an up time of 99.999%.

Doug Hanes has a degree in marketing communications from California State University, Fullerton, and a degree in business/economics from Westmont College.
