Mazine Kessaissia has a diverse work experience spanning several reputable companies. Mazine started their career with BP as a Drilling Engineer in 2000 and then worked as a Drilling Field Engineer at Schlumberger in 2001-2002. Mazine then joined Société Générale as a Vice President in Investment Banking (Energy) from 2004 to 2009. Following that, they worked at ExxonMobil in various roles, including Advisor in New Business Development, Commercial Manager for Africa Exploration, and Commercial Manager for Qatar LNG/Gas Marketing between 2009 and 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Business Development at Kosmos Energy. In addition to their corporate experience, they also serve as a member of the Africa Committee at the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce, which focuses on promoting trade and investment between the United States and Arab countries.

Mazine Kessaissia earned a BSc/MSc degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie between 1996 and 2001. They then went on to obtain a Master's degree from The University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2004. In 2011, Mazine attended the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School for an Executive Leadership Program.
