Vishal Vijaywargiya

Vishal Vijaywargiya is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Head of Investment and M&A at Kotak Mahindra Bank since September 2021, Vishal focuses on exploring opportunities in both technology and non-technology enterprises, engaging with partners in the sector. Previously, Vishal was involved with Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) in equity and structured investments, where notable achievements included investments in consumer-focused sectors. As a founding team member at InteQuant Advisors, Vishal established their equity practice and successfully closed transactions exceeding $100 million. With a solid foundation in investment from roles at Baring Private Equity Asia and Kotak Private Equity, alongside early career experience at Infosys Technologies, Vishal holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a B-Tech in Chemical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University.
