Patrick Carter

Patrick Carter is a network support specialist at Kotman Technology. Prior to this, they worked as a network/computer technician for Kings Canyon Unified School District from June 2011 to February 2022. In this role, they provided on-site assistance to end users pertaining to the installation, troubleshooting, and support of their computer applications and network devices. Patrick also performed set-up, breakdown, and transport of the district's equipment on an as needed basis. Additionally, they created and modified user accounts in Active Directory and GSuite Panel, imaged desktops and laptops in the district through Microsoft Configuration Manager, managed, troubleshot, and repaired district Chromebooks, installed and configured network printers, installed new network devices such as routers, switches, servers, and UPSs in network racks located in IDF and MDF cabinets, configured Cisco 2960x and 9300 series switches, setup, modified, and troubleshot Cisco VoIP phones.

Patrick Carter has completed a Cisco Networking Academy CCNA R&S from Fresno City College, and an Associate in Information Technology and Network Systems Administration from Heald College. Patrick also has certification from CompTIA in CompTIA A+ Certification and CompTIA Network+ Certification. In addition, they have a certification from Amplified IT in Amplified Admin Level 1. Finally, they have Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) and Understanding of Cisco Network Devices certification from Cisco.
