Miguel Valdes Faura

Miguel Valdes Faura is the Head of Product Marketing & Strategy at Kotzilla, responsible for leading market research initiatives to shape the product roadmap and align positioning across teams. Co-founder and former CEO of Bonitasoft from 2009 to 2022, Miguel guided the company through two distinct growth phases. Prior experience includes serving as Director of BPM & Workflow at Bull R&D, where Miguel enhanced the Bonita project through industry insights, and working as an Open Source R&D Engineer at INRIA, co-founding Bonita to provide innovative solutions for workflow and business process management. Miguel began a career in engineering as a Research Engineer at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, developing intelligent search tools. Miguel holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universitat Rovira i Virgili and a Master's in Software Engineering from Universite de Lorraine.
