Claire Rees

Claire Rees is an experienced R&D Manager at Koura, where Claire leads multiple complex research programmes to support the company’s growth and maintains its position as a global leader in fluorinated chemical products. Previous roles include Senior Technologist and Senior Research Chemist at Koura, as well as Technical Lead at Mexichem, where Claire established a team for research into hydrofluorination catalysts. Additional experience includes a role as Senior Development Chemist at Rockwood Clay Additives GmbH, conducting R&D for clay-based products, and as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Ottawa focusing on chromium catalysts. Claire holds a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry and Catalysis from the University of Leeds and an MChem in Chemistry from the University of Hull.
