Matt England

Matt England has over 25 years of work experience, beginning with a software engineering co-op position at Hughes Electronics (Hughes Aircraft Company) in 1992. Following this, they held various positions at MTI Technology from 1995 to 2002, including Software Engineer, Manager, Systems Engineer, Sales Engineer and Product Manager. In 2002, they became Product Marketing Manager at Chaparral Network Storage and then Startup Marketer at Kozio in 2003. Matt then worked as Engineering Manager at ChannelVelocity in 2003 and VP of Engineering and co-founder at Cleversafe in 2004. In 2007, they held concurrent positions as Operations Manager at Kove and President at Gladland, Inc. Finally, in 2012, they took on the role of Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, providing monthly consulting to new startup ventures and prospective technology entrepreneurs.

Matt England attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering.
