Joao Costa

Joao Costa has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Joao is currently the Founder & CEO of Zarv since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Endeavor Entrepreneur at Endeavor starting in March 2021. From October 2021 to the present, Joao served as a Co-Founder at Kovi. Joao also held the positions of Co-Founder, CTO & CPO at Kovi from July 2018 to October 2021. Before joining Kovi, they were the Head of Product Brazil at DiDi from January 2018 to July 2018. Joao's experience also includes working as the Head of Drivers Product at 99 from May 2017 to January 2018. Joao served as the VP of Product at Beleza na Web from June 2016 to May 2017. Prior to that, Joao worked as a Senior Product Manager - Learning Services at Passei Direto from October 2015 to June 2016. Joao held multiple roles at Chaordic, including Senior Product Manager and Partner from November 2013 to September 2015, Product Manager - Innovation/New Offers from March 2013 to November 2013, and Product Owner - Personalized Mail Platform from June 2011 to February 2013. Joao was also a Co-Founder & CPO at Rudra from May 2010 to June 2011. Their earliest work experience was as a Senior UX/UI Designer at CERTI Foundation from August 2008 to May 2011.

Joao Costa's education history includes three significant academic achievements. In 2004, they enrolled at Barddal University of Applied Arts and completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Graphic Design in 2009. From 2011 to 2013, Joao pursued an M.Sc. degree in Design Management at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina. In 2021, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, participating in the Executive Program focusing on Business Administration and Management. Alongside their formal education, Joao obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in May 2015.
