Tom Newton

Tom Newton has extensive work experience in product management. Tom is currently the VP of Product at Smoothwall, a position they started in January 2022. Before this role, they served as the Head of Product at Smoothwall from April 2021 to February 2022. Prior to that, Tom worked as a Senior Product Manager at Smoothwall from October 2018 to April 2021 and as a Product Manager from January 2018 to October 2018. In 2017, they worked as a Product Management Consultant at Eduvault. From June 2016 to October 2017, Tom was a Senior Product Manager at ADI - Advanced Digital Institute. Tom began their career as a Programmer at Geosoft Ltd t/a Graticule in 2001. In 2015, they joined Equifax as a Product Manager, where they led the delivery interfaces and had European responsibility for the Interconnect SaaS product line. During their time at Smoothwall from July 2003 to September 2015, Tom held the roles of Principal Product Strategist and Product Manager.

Tom Newton attended Outwood Grange from 1990 to 1997. Tom then went on to pursue a 2.i BSc degree in Computing at the University of Leeds from 1998 to 2001.
