Robert Burnstine

Robert Burnstine is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and investment analysis. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Kovitz Investment Group since May 2017, Burnstine previously co-founded Fairpointe Capital, where roles included President and Portfolio Manager from February 2011 to April 2017. Before that, positions included Portfolio Manager and Investment Analyst at Harris Associates and Managing Director at Talon Asset Management, along with experience in investment analysis at Chase Securities and transactional law at Kirkland & Ellis. Burnstine holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Michigan.
