Patrick Hammond

Vice President, Projects at KP Engineering

Patrick Hammond, PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning both the engineering and military sectors. Patrick currently serves as the Vice President of Projects at KP Engineering, where they provide strategic direction and leadership for renewable, hydrogen/syngas, chemical, and refining proposals and projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Director at the same company, overseeing the execution of various engineering projects. Patrick also has experience as a Project Manager/Project Engineer, managing renewable fuels, hydrogen/syngas, chemical, and refining projects for an EPC company.

Before their engineering career, Patrick served in the US Army, where they held various positions in different units. Notably, they served as the Deputy Group Engineer for the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), managing program and project operations for a 2,500-soldier group. In addition, they held positions such as Platoon Leader, Assistant Operations Officer, and Squadron Adjutant in the Sabre Squadron, 3d Cavalry Regiment.

Overall, Patrick brings a wealth of experience in project management, engineering, and leadership to their current role as the Vice President of Projects at KP Engineering.

Patrick Hammond, PMP received their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2012. Patrick has also obtained additional certifications including Learning SQL Programming from LinkedIn, EIT (Industrial Engineering) from NCEES, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, all in 2016.
