Fredrik Eklöf

Fredrik Eklöf is the Business Area Manager Parties & Education at KPA Pension AB. Fredrik has previously worked as the Affärsområdeschef Parter och Utbildning, Särskilt utsedd befattningshavare (SUB) AML/CTF, Verksamhetsområdeschef Parter och ledningsstöd, Tf Verksamhetsområdeschef- parter och ledningsstöd, and Partsstrateg at KPA Pension. Fredrik is responsible for the development of customer relationships with labor market parties and the company's information and training activities. Fredrik also sits on the KPA Pension Board of Directors.

Before joining KPA Pension, Fredrik worked as a Pensionsexpert at Lärarförbundet for six months. Prior to that, they worked as the Pensions- och försäkringsansvarig, Marknadschef at Vårdförbundet for 4 years 10 months where they were responsible for the union's all occupational pension agreements and collectively agreed insurance contracts. Fredrik has also represented the union in PTK's and OFR's various pension expert groups and has good knowledge of occupational pension agreements within the private, public and municipal sectors.

As a pension and insurance specialist, they work with interpretation, application and negotiation, as well as increasing awareness of occupational pensions and their value among union members. Fredrik also has extensive experience with group insurance, having negotiated and developed group insurance offers in several organizations. Fredrik was also the Marknadschef and department head for the department of market and member development where they were responsible for building and implementing the new department which had a strategic responsibility for Vårdförbundet member development, member benefits and development of membership content. The department gathered the union's marketing, student and educational activities as well as the union's various membership systems. Fredrik had full operational budget and personnel responsibility for nine employees.

Prior to their work at Vårdförbundet, Fredrik was the Marknadsansvarig at The Swedish Medical Association for 5 years 9 months. Before that, they worked as a Säljare at Ekocentrum for 1 year 10 months.

Fredrik Eklöf has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Handelshögskolan vid Göteborgs Universitet, with a specialization in marketing. Fredrik also has a Master's degree in philosophy from Mälardalen University, with a specialization in ecological economics.
