Marissa Lavasseur

Marissa LaVasseur is a Senior Accountant at KPMG Canada, having joined in October 2022 after serving as a Staff Accountant. Previously, Marissa gained experience as a Crew Member and Trainer at Paradise Charter Cruises & Minneapolis Queen from April 2019 to September 2022, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for financial-related courses at Trinity Western University from January 2020 to May 2022. Marissa also completed an Accounts Payable internship at RAYUS Radiology in mid-2021 and held the position of Shift Supervisor and Barista at Starbucks from April 2018 to October 2020. Marissa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Trinity Western University and is pursuing designation with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
