Laurence May

Laurence May is the Head of KPMG in Galway, managing a team of 100 professionals in providing audit, tax, and advisory services to clients across the West of Ireland. With extensive experience in audit services for both public and non-public clients, Laurence holds qualifications in US GAAP, IFRS, and Irish/UK GAAP reporting requirements, having provided professional audit services in accordance with PCAOB and IFRS standards. In addition to corporate roles, Laurence serves as an Adjunct Professor in Accounting and Finance at the National University of Ireland, Galway, focusing on the integration of data analytics and cognitive technologies in audit and accounting. Laurence holds a Masters in Accounting and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Galway.
