Leonard Blaster Shawa

Leonard Blaster Shawa is a seasoned audit professional currently serving as a Senior at KPMG in Bermuda since March 2023. Prior to this role, Leonard held various positions at Deloitte, including Audit Supervisor, where responsibilities included supervising audit planning and fieldwork, and preparing detailed client reports. Leonard started at Deloitte as an Audit Senior and later an Audit Semi Senior, overseeing auditing processes and coaching junior auditors. Leonard Blaster's career also includes experience as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Malawi, an Audit Intern at PwC, and a Primary School Teacher. Leonard holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences and completed ACCA qualifications in October 2022.
