Lowell Robinson serves as the Senior Producer of Voice and AI at KQED since May 2019, where responsibilities involve inventing and building new products and experiences aligned with KQED's mission. Prior to this role, Lowell led the Digital Experience Lab at the Exploratorium from 1998 to April 2019, focusing on emerging technologies and inquiry-based learning. Additional roles at the Exploratorium included Director of Creative Applications, overseeing educational mobile app development, and Director of Online Engagement, managing the strategy for the institution's award-winning website. Lowell holds a Master of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tulane University.
