Luís MacIel

Luís Maciel is a highly experienced professional in process development and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Process Development Technologist at The Kraft Heinz Company since December 2020. Previously, Luís held positions as a Senior Process Engineer at SC Johnson, where responsibilities included leading EMEA R&D processes and troubleshooting projects, and as a Food Scientist at Prozis, focusing on the development of powdered sports formulas and personalized baking goods. Luis's career also includes significant roles at Unilever as a Process Scientist, at CEB - Centro de Engenharia Biológica as a Research Scientist, and earlier experiences in vendor positions and internships. Luís holds a Master's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering and completed a Master Thesis in Biological/Biosystems Engineering.
