Doug Klausen

Doug Klausen has a diverse and extensive work experience that spans several industries. Doug currently holds the position of Senior Director of Audio Visual & Broadcast Systems at Kraft Sports + Entertainment since September 2022. In this role, they are responsible for analyzing and evaluating current broadcast and A/V systems, developing capital improvement plans, managing operations, providing technical direction, and ensuring the smooth execution of stadium events.

Prior to their current role, Klausen worked at Daktronics from 2014 to 2022, where they held various positions including Project Manager and Application Engineer. Doug collaborated with customers to develop best practices for system operation, built strong service relationships, and served as an advisor for customers.

In 2014, Klausen had a brief stint as a Producer/Director at In A Pickle Productions and served as an In-Venue Director at Van Wagner Big Screen Network Productions.

From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Stadium Technical Coordinator at the Arizona Cardinals Football Club. In this role, they coordinated and produced technical and production elements for various events, implemented new initiatives to enhance fan experience, managed freelance production staff, created video and digital content, and maintained audiovisual tools and equipment.

Before that, Klausen worked at Crew West Inc. as an Audio Technician from 2008 to 2011. Doug completed productions for various clients and was responsible for all audio and technical aspects. Doug also worked as a Production Assistant at WTOL in 2007 and as a Football Videographer at Indiana University in 2006.

Klausen started their career as a Production Intern at Lingner Group Productions, Inc. in 2006 and later served as a Schedule Director at WTIU from 2005 to 2006.

Doug Klausen attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Communication. In 2022, Doug also obtained a certification in OSHA 30 from the OSHA Safety Training Institute.
