Esben Højmark Gimbel

Esben Højmark Gimbel has a diverse background in digital transformation and business development. Esben Højmark is currently working as a VP of Engagement at Kraftvaerk, where their focus is on building robust digital ecosystems that drive efficiency, growth, and innovation. Esben Højmark has also held roles as a Director at Kraftvaerk, where they were responsible for establishing teams and leading projects in the banking, insurance, and pension sectors. In addition, Esben has experience as a Bestyrelsesmedlem at Danske Pensionsmæglere I/S, where they helped the company develop its digital business. Prior to that, they worked as an Engagement Director and Delivery Director in the tech and digital consulting firm Monstarlab Europe. Esben has also worked at companies such as Creuna, IUM Denmark, Nodes, EG Experience, Aarhus University Hospital, and Visual Interactive Light Design (VILD), where they held various client management, strategic planning, and advisory roles.

Esben Højmark Gimbel completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management Communication from Aahus School of Business in 2012. Esben Højmark then pursued a Master's degree in Experience Economy from Aarhus University, which they completed in 2015. In 2019, Esben attended Harvard University and participated in the Program on Negotiation, focusing on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Additionally, they obtained certifications in SAFe Lean Portfolio Management from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022, and a programme of negotiation from Harvard University in 2019. Prior to their university education, Esben completed their studentereksamen from Herning Gymnasium in 2009, with a focus on Mathematics, Chemistry, and Music.
