Richard Walmsley

Richard Walmsley is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in designing and testing electronic circuits and PCBs for underwater robotics at Kraken Robotics, where Richard has been employed since May 2020, following their role as an Electrical Engineering Co-op Student at the same company in late 2019. Prior experience includes serving as an Electrical Designer at Paradigm Hyperloop, contributing to the design of electrical systems for a competition pod, and assisting with E&I design changes at Husky Energy. Additionally, Richard has worked on reliability and process improvements at Michelin and developed on-board integrated control systems at Irving Shipbuilding. Richard holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University, completed in 2020.
