Steve Girard

Steve Girard is a highly experienced Senior Elect-Mechanical Engineer at Kraken Robotics since November 2019. In addition to this role, Steve serves as a Technical Consultant at SGT Consulting, specializing in offshore subsea operations and mechanical electronics. Previously, Steve held the position of VP Innovation/Technical Support at Leeway Marine from October 2015 to November 2019. Steve's extensive background includes positions as ROV Supervisor at Marine Platforms Ltd and Oceaneering, where responsibilities involved operating and managing ROV systems for the offshore oil industry. Additionally, Steve began career as an ROV tech at Thales and worked as a Production Supervisor/Design Tech at Moog Components Group. Steve's education includes multiple degrees in Mechanical and Electronics Engineering Technology from NSCCIT, completed between 1989 and 1995.
