Inez Coumans has a diverse work experience background. In 2010, they worked as a Project Manager for Kunst op de rotondes at gemeente aalburg, where they were responsible for the development plans of various villages. Inez also held roles as a Beleidsmedewerker Onderwijs en Cultuur and Beleidsmedewerker Welzijn, where they focused on library management, art subsidies, and educational policies. In 2011, they became the Owner of In=Co, and later served as the Zakelijk Leider for TG Fantasten, handling sales, budgeting, and subsidy applications. From 2010 to 2017, Coumans worked as the Business Manager/ Zakelijk Leider for Dries Verhoeven | Stichting Room with a view, managing theater and art installations. In 2017, they transitioned to Kramp and Kramp Hub, serving as the Head of People and Head of People & Internal Operations respectively. Most recently, Coumans joined Maykers in 2019 as the Head of People & Internal Operations. In 2022, they became a member of Stichting r.e.d. - Francesca Lazzeri as a Bestuurslid- penningmeester. Coumans also served as the Bestuurslid - penningmeester for the Café Theater Festival in 2017.
