Vincent Chen

Vincent Chen is currently the Executive Director (Asia) at KraneShares. Prior to this, they were the Business Development Director at HANetf from January 2022 to June 2022. Vincent has also held the position of Executive Director, Global ETF Strategy at KraneShares from March 2019 to September 2021.

Chen has extensive experience in developing and managing portfolios of product partnerships with asset managers and index providers from North America, EMEA and Asia. Vincent also has significant experience in leading the distribution of HANetf strategies in Asia-Pacific, including China, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand.

At KraneShares, Chen was responsible for establishing the company's business in Asia-Pacific and raising over USD 500 million in just two and a half years. Vincent formulated distribution strategies targeting regional institutional investors in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia. This included asset management firms, insurance companies, family offices, private banks, hedge funds and pension funds.

Chen has also coordinated across London and New York product teams to execute on global product initiatives. Vincent has led product origination and development for feeder funds/fund of funds with asset managers in Asia. In addition, they have developed business partnership opportunities in Asia including white-labelling, joint marketing initiatives and fund registration opportunities. Vincent also serves as the primary spokesperson for KraneShares in regional conferences and webinars.

Vincent Chen has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Finance from HEC Paris and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Vincent also has a BA in Translation from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Diploma in German from The University of Freiburg. Vincent has an A-Level in Science from La Salle College (Hong Kong) and they are certified from the CFA Institute in CFA.

They work with Nan Li - Investment Analyst (Asia), Sjef Pieters - Head of European Sales, and Piers Wheeler - Head of UK Sales. Vincent Chen reports to Dr. Xiaolin Chen, Head of International.
