Coirier Bill

Director, Aerosciences And Engineering Analysis at Kratos

Dr. Coirier has extensive experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Coirier started their career as a Research Engineer at Science Applications International Corporation, where they specialized in missile plume prediction and scramjet combustor analysis. Coirier then worked as an Aerospace Engineer at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, where they developed new mesh schemes and improved numerical methods for reacting and non-reacting flows. After that, they founded the Defense Applications Branch at CFD Research Corporation and served as its Director, leading multiple projects and pursuing business opportunities. Currently, they are the Director of the Aerosciences and Engineering Branch at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, where they provide technical leadership, manages a group, and contributes to new business development.

Coirier Bill obtained a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University between 1984 and 1986. Coirier also completed their Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State University from 1980 to 1984.
