Gary Ross

Gary Ross has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gary is currently working as the Vice President of Developmental Engineering at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Cyber Strategy at the same company from 2021 to 2022. Before joining Kratos, Gary worked at Cosmic Advanced Engineered Solutions as the Chief Strategy Officer from 2018 to 2020. Gary was responsible for developing and executing the company's strategic initiatives and played a key role in decision-making and company improvement. Prior to that, they held various positions at Cosmic AES, including Director of Advanced Programs and Senior Project Engineer, where they led teams in developing innovative capabilities in the space, cyber, and intelligence domains. Gary also has experience working at USAF TENCAP, where they served as the Branch Chief of National Intelligence and ISR Systems, and at DOD/NASA/NOAA as the Division Chief of Visual and Infra-red Sensing. In addition, they worked at the US Air Force as a Program Manager for Intel Messaging Systems and as the Deputy Program Manager for the National Air and Space Model. Gary started their career in 1989 as an F-15/16 Armament Specialist in the US Air Force, where they managed maintenance and supply-chain for aircraft weapons systems.

Gary Ross has a diverse education history. Gary earned an AA degree in Aerospace Armament Systems Engineering from the College of the Air Force in 1993. From 1995 to 2000, they pursued a BS degree in Business Sciences, Management and Information Systems at the University of Maryland (Europe). In 2001, they obtained two certificates, one in Program Management (Lvl 3) and another in Earned Value Management, from the Defense Acquisition University. Finally, from 2002 to 2005, they completed an MBA degree with a focus on Business at the University of Maryland.
