Jennifer Barber

Jennifer Barber has extensive work experience in the fields of defense and security solutions, systems engineering, and academic research. Jennifer started their career in 2007 as an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. After four years, they transitioned to RT Logic, where they worked as a Systems Engineer for six years. In 2017, Jennifer joined Kratos Defense and Security Solutions as a Project Manager, and later took on the role of Director, Solutions Architecture for SATCOM in 2020.

Jennifer Barber earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from the University of Oklahoma from 1998 to 2002. Jennifer then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of Washington from 2002 to 2004. Jennifer went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the same field at UC San Diego from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2019.
