Tim Miller has extensive work experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Tim started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Pratt & Whitney in 1989 and worked there until 2003. Tim then joined Barber Nichols Inc as a Turbomachinery Sales/Applications Engineer, focusing on rocket engine turbopumps, cryogenic pumps, and compressors for the aerospace, defense, and energy industries. In 2013, they joined Florida Turbine Technologies Inc., a Kratos Company, where they held multiple roles, including Program Manager, Director of Business Development Space and Hypersonics, and Discipline Lead for Mechanical Systems & Controls. Since 2020, they have been working as the Director of Business Development at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions.
Tim Miller obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University from 1983 to 1989. Tim later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Miami Herbert Business School from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Engineering from the University of Miami in 2000-2001.
