Ren Jie Tan

Ren Jie Tan is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in machine learning, data analytics, and computer vision. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Kredivo Group since August 2022, Ren previously held roles at Shopee and DSTA, where expertise in AI engineering and video analytics was developed. A background in AI apprenticeship at AI Singapore involved essential work with machine learning models and data pipelines, along with a notable project at medtech startup KroniKare. Earlier experience at ST Electronics focused on optimizing satellite scheduling systems and developing object detection frameworks. Ren holds a Master of Technology in Knowledge Engineering from the National University of Singapore and is currently enrolled in an Accelerated Management Program at NUS Business School.
