Andy Murphy

Andy Murphy is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology field, currently serving as Vice President of Early Research at Kriya Therapeutics, Inc. since August 2021. Prior to this role, Andy founded and presided over Kitty Hawk Biosciences, providing consulting and lab services focused on cell-based assays and gene therapy advancements. Andy also held positions at KBI Biopharma, Duke University Health System, and Liquidia Technologies, leading research efforts and overseeing clinical trial support for various therapeutic applications. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stanford University and rich experience in particle vaccine development, gene therapy, and biopharmaceuticals, Andy has demonstrated expertise in project management, method development, and regulatory interactions throughout a diverse career.
