Tomo Harayama

Tomo Harayama is a data scientist and engineer who has worked for Apple, Scality, Samsung Electronics, HGST, and EY. Tomo has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Tomo has led, engineered, and deployed numerous AI/ML, function optimization, data pipeline/cloud architectures, system software engineering solutions as Data Scientist, Software Engineer and SRE. Tomo has also researched and developed data storage system algorithm design, system architecture methods, PCIE SSD I/O performance.

Tomo Harayama has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, a Master in Information Science from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor in Mathematics from Kyoto University. Tomo Harayama is certified from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Big Data Specialty, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, and AWS Solution Architect Associate.

They work with Darrell Maples - Senior Architect, Miko Conrad - Engineering Director, and Vovan Kuznetsov - Chief Architect. Tomo Harayama reports to Chris Lee, Founder, Chief Technology Officer.
