Product Designer at Kroo

Finn Rans has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. In 2018, Finn worked as an Urban Sustainability Analyst at The University of Manchester, where they collaborated with ARUP and the European Union on a project to make Chinese cities greener. Finn analyzed government reports, policy documents, academic papers, and demographic statistics to identify sustainability challenges and produced a report that encouraged co-learning between different regions.

In 2019, Finn joined sync.money as a Marketing Associate. Finn was responsible for planning marketing campaigns, including the Transport for London cash-back scheme. Later in the same year, Finn joined Huddle as a Business Development Representative. Finn successfully met sales quotas and generated over $1 million in qualified pipeline through outbound cold calling. Finn also interviewed and empathized with c-suite executives to identify their pain points and persuade them to attend meetings with the senior sales team. Finn excelled in this role and was eventually promoted to Customer Success Manager, where they managed a portfolio of small-to-mid sized accounts worth $900,000 ARR. Finn then further progressed to become a Senior Customer Success Manager and managed relationships with 28 accounts worth £1.6m ARR, including renowned companies like KPMG, Deloitte, and EY. Finn conducted quarterly-business-reviews, led user training, and collaborated across departments to solve customer problems.

In 2022, Finn joined BrainStation as a UX Design Student, where they completed 400 hours of classroom learning and participated in a hackathon and several design projects. Finn worked on projects like DunDat, a social media platform for travel, and Fizzio, a solution for physiotherapy patients to perform and be consistent with their exercises. Finn's work during this time showcased their strong UX skills and their ability to follow design thinking processes.

Most recently, Finn joined Kroo as a Product Designer. Kroo is a UK-based financial technology company that develops innovative services for a new generation of customers. Finn's role involves designing products and services that enable social interaction and seamless financial transactions. Their work at Kroo is driven by their passion for creating user-friendly experiences.

Finn Rans completed their education in a chronological sequence. In 2014, they enrolled at The University of Manchester and pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography with International Study.
