Pieter Lesterhuis has extensive work experience in various leadership roles across different industries. Pieter served as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Kruger Family Industries, where they focused on driving operational efficiencies, executing digital transformation, and implementing financial rigor. Prior to that, they were a member and advisor to the board of directors of multiple organizations, including private and public companies, and non-profit institutions. Pieter also worked as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President at Lochner, partnering with the CEO and Board of Directors to transform the company through organic and acquisitional growth. Before that, they held roles at KPMG US as Executive Director, where they assessed financial conditions and operations of global organizations and implemented best-in-class finance teams and structures. Pieter also worked as an Investment Banker at Credit Suisse, originating and executing various investment banking transactions. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Huron, The Walsh Group, and Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, gaining experience in turnaround and restructuring, project management, and engineering.

Pieter Lesterhuis holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with a focus on Accounting, Finance, and Strategy. Pieter also obtained a Master's degree in Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering from Bradley University, where they previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Additionally, Pieter Lesterhuis completed their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at Jakarta International School in Jakarta, Indonesia. Pieter has also attained several certifications, including CDBV (Certified Distressed Business Valuation Professional), CIRA (Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor), and CTP (Certified Turnaround Professional), all acquired in 2003. Pieter is also a member of the Private Directors Association.
