Juliet Bauer

Juliet Bauer is the Managing Director UK at Kry. Juliet has been with the company since July 2016, and in their current role they are responsible for leading citizen facing digital services for NHS England and Senior Responsible Owner for the Empower the Person pillar of the Digital Transformation Program, including launching the national NHS App.

Bauer has been instrumental in the success of the Empower the Person pillar of the Digital Transformation Program, which is one of the most ambitious digital transformation portfolios in the world. The program includes 10 key programmes: NHS.uk - the NHS website; the NHS App; Citizen Identity - the NHS identity service; Apps & Wearables; Personal Health Record and Standards; Widening Digital Participation, Digital Child Health, Digital Maternity, GP Online and Patient Wifi.

The goal of the Empower the Person program is to empower people to take more control of their health and healthcare. Over the next 4 years, Bauer and their team are transforming content, campaigns, platforms, standards and transactions to meet business needs, researched user needs, and to support strategic aims of working with the regions and market.

Bauer's work has been recognized by several prestigious publications and organizations. Juliet was named a Health Service Journal top 100 Influencer in 2018, a Computer Weekly UK Tech 50 winner in 2018, a Computer Weekly Most Influential Women UK 50 winner in 2018, an One HealthTech Ambassador in 2018, an AccelerateHer Inspiring Fifty winner in 2018, and a DHSC Women's Health Taskforce member in 2018.

Juliet Bauer has an MBA from Columbia Business School, a Postgraduate Diploma from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a degree in Economic and Social Juliet'story from the University of Bristol. Juliet also attended Marlborough College and St Paul's Girls' School.
