Jan Erik Innvær

Jan Erik Innvær took up the position in September 2022. As director of staff, he has particular responsibility for coordination in the organisation.

The staff is responsible for facilitating KS's formal meetings such as executive board meetings, county board meetings, municipal director's committee and meetings in the Greater City Network and County Mayors' College. The staff coordinates the consultation scheme and is responsible for planning and strategy work in KS.

Innvær came from the position of regional director, a position he has held in KS since 2015. First for what was region BTV (Buskerud, Telemark, Vestfold), and from 2020 for Vestfold and Telemark.

Before he started in KS, Innvær held positions in several municipalities, in most of them as manager. In addition, he has worked for many years with development work and cooperation in and between municipalities.
