Eirlys Lloyd has a diverse work experience starting from 1972. Eirlys began as an Apprentice Solicitor at Courtney Crawford and Company (now Lindsays) in Edinburgh. Eirlys then worked as a Solicitor and Notary Public at Skene Edwards and Garson (now Morton Fraser) before moving to Allan McDougall, where they held the same role. Following this, Eirlys became an Advocate at the Faculty of Advocates in Edinburgh, and during this time, they served as a part-time Chairman on several tribunals. Eirlys then became the owner of 28 Northumberland Street and Abercromby House in Edinburgh. In 1991, they became a Barrister at Middle Temple in London. Eirlys later joined KSA Group Ltd in 2008 as Corporate Advice. Lastly, they founded their own company Eirlys Lloyd Company Services Ltd in 2015, where they currently serve as the Director.

Eirlys Lloyd pursued their undergraduate education at the University of Edinburgh from 1967 to 1972, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a specialization in Law. Prior to their university education, Eirlys attended Wellington School, Ayr, although specific details regarding the duration and field of study are not available.
