Rick Bemis

Rick Bemis has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Rick is currently working at The Ksquare Group as the Chief Data Officer, responsible for leading the data practice and ensuring the quality of architectural designs and program deliveries. Prior to this, they worked at JDSAT, Inc. as a Senior Principal Data Governance and Architecture. Rick also worked as a Principal Data Governance Consultant at Altarum from 2021 to 2022. In their earlier roles, Rick was the CTO of Office of Technology at L.A. Care Health Plan, where they led the digital transformation and established data governance programs. Rick also held positions at Counterpoint Solutions & Associates, LLC and Kaiser Permanente, where they served as the CIO, CDO, and IT Program Manager respectively. Rick's career began as the Chief Technology Officer at CoCo Res, where they managed all technologies supporting customers and consultants. Rick Bemis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from California State University, Long Beach. Rick also obtained an Associate of Science degree in Mathematics & Business Information Systems from Long Beach City College.
