Matthew Kamakani Lynch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability, community activism, and the arts. Currently serving as a Bertha Artivist Fellow at the Bertha Foundation, Lynch champions the integration of art in social justice initiatives. As Senior Advisor to Landback Initiatives at Sustainable Molokai, guidance is provided for community efforts aimed at returning Molokai Ranch to local ownership. Lynch owns Beautiful Emergence Records, showcasing emerging talent. Previous roles include Principal at Matthew K. Lynch Design & Consulting, Teaching Faculty at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Director of Sustainability Initiatives for the University of Hawai‘i System. Additionally, Lynch has contributed to Kahumana Organic Farm and co-chaired the Sustainability Measures Subcommittee for Hawai'i Green Growth Local2030 Hub.
