Patrick Tavares

Patrick Tavares has extensive experience in the technology industry. Patrick is currently working as a Solutions Engineer at Kubecost since March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Solutions Architect at StormForge from June 2021 to March 2023. In this role, they provided pre-sales engineering and developed marketing materials for customers and prospects in the US.

Before joining StormForge, Patrick worked at Red Hat for many years. Patrick served as a Sales Account Executive from July 2016 to June 2021, managing account relationships and achieving double-digit growth in the emerging technology portfolio. Patrick also worked as a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect from December 2013 to June 2016, where they identified and supported enterprise cloud software sales opportunities.

Patrick also has experience as a CIO and Chief Architect at Slate Technology, LLC from February 2013 to December 2013. In this role, they led a product development team and designed SaaS solutions for the healthcare industry.

Prior to that, they worked at Red Hat as a Senior Solutions Architect from November 2010 to January 2013, where they solved customer challenges using open source products. Patrick was responsible for major Fortune 10 companies.

Patrick's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Systems Engineer at Verizon Business from May 2007 to October 2010. Patrick designed and implemented enterprise information system solutions for Fortune 500 clients.

Patrick also worked at K2Share as an Enterprise Architect and Senior IT Analyst, where they designed and implemented enterprise information system solutions and maintained existing systems for various clients. Patrick had clients such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of Grants and Training.

Patrick began their career as an IT Consultant at K2Share in July 2003. Patrick also worked as a Systems Analyst and Webmaster at Deloitte from January 2003 to July 2003. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Developer at Omnispace Technologies from May 2000 to August 2001.
