Mark Grand

Mark Grand has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Mark is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at KUBRA. Prior to that, they held the role of Engineering Manager (Hands-On) at Topl where they built a team of remote international Scala engineers and contributed to the vision and architecture of the Topl blockchain level 1 protocol. Mark also worked at JFrog as a Senior Blockchain Engineer, focusing on the Pyrsia project to improve and secure the software supply chain. Mark was a Principal Software Engineer / Platform Architect at Cognizant, where they designed a microservices-based architecture and implemented a development process based on feature releases. At The Home Depot, Mark worked as a Principal Software Engineer and focused on improving the performance of merchandising services. Mark also held positions at HCL Technologies as a Senior Solutions Architect, Deloitte as a Solutions Architect, The Weather Company as a Senior Software Engineer, Pyramid Consulting as a Technical Lead, and Bridge2 Solutions as a Software/Solutions Architect. Overall, Mark has demonstrated their expertise in software engineering, architecture design, and project management throughout their career.

Mark Grand attended The Bronx High School of Science from 1970 to 1973, during which they pursued an academic curriculum. Following high school, they enrolled at Syracuse University from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Mark also holds several additional certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in June 2021, American Mensa Member certification from American Mensa obtained in October 2012, and Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect from Google obtained in May 2020.
