Slava Volau

Slava Volau has a diverse range of work experience spanning over many years. In 2005, they started working as a Security Engineer for JV "Unibelus" Ltd, where they built the architecture of complex security systems for government agencies and provided implementation support. Slava also maintained and expanded the portfolio of security solutions for customers. In 2012, they transitioned to Targetprocess, Inc. as a Customer Care Consultant until 2014. Then, they held various roles at Targetprocess, including Solutions Architect, Integration Team Lead, and eventually Head of Security and Compliance from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Apptio as an Information Security Manager until 2022. Currently, they are working at KUBRA as a Manager of Cloud Security starting in 2022. Slava's work experience highlights their expertise in security engineering, architecture design, and management in both private and government sectors.

Slava Volau earned a Master's Degree in Computer-Based Management and Information Systems from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, graduating in 2006. In 2015, they attended Humber College, although it is not specified if they obtained a degree.

In addition to their academic background, Slava Volau holds several certifications in the field of information technology and security. Slava obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in April 2021. Before that, in July 2020, they achieved the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA.

In February 2019, they obtained the Amazon AWS Cloud Practitioner (CLR) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Slava also completed the GDPR Foundations certification from GASQ in December 2017.

Slava Volau holds the Leading SAFe® with SA certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. which they obtained in April 2017. Slava also achieved the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance in October 2014. Additionally, they hold the ITIL v3 Foundations certification from EXIN, obtained in December 2013. Lastly, Slava Volau obtained the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner certification from CompTIA in September 2013.
