Ganesh Prasad

Ganesh Prasad, PMP has a range of work experience in various roles within the manufacturing industry. Ganesh started their career in 1999 as an Engineer, Research & Development at Makino Asia Group, where they focused on design enhancement and development work for CNC Electrical Discharge Machines. Ganesh then moved on to Makino as a Senior Engineer, where they continued their work in design enhancement and development.

In 2007, they joined Makino Asia Group again, this time as a Senior Engineer & Team Leader, Research & Development. In this role, they spearheaded a division of Design Engineers in the design and development of CNC Controlled Machine Tools, and promoted concurrent engineering among various departments. Ganesh was also involved in conceptualizing a low-cost, compact, and high-performance CNC controlled Wire Electrical Discharge Machine.

In 2010, Ganesh Prasad joined Kulicke & Soffa as a Program Manager, where they managed the Wedge Bonder Product engineering program and successfully implemented AGILE methodologies. Ganesh also set objectives for the Product Engineering group and managed resources to achieve those objectives. Ganesh led a team of engineers in technology transfer from the US to Singapore for the Wedge Bonder product line.

Throughout their career, Ganesh Prasad has taken on increasingly senior roles, including Manager, Product Engineering and Application Process at Kulicke & Soffa and Principal Engineer / Section Manager R&D at Makino Asia Group. Ganesh'sexperience demonstrates their expertise in project management, cross-functional coordination, and product development.

Ganesh Prasad, PMP has a diverse education history. Ganesh completed an Executive Education program in International Management at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2021. In the same year, they also completed an Executive Program in Marketing Strategy in a Digital World at NUS Business School. Prior to that, in 2013, they earned an MBA with a focus on Strategy and Organization from NUS Business School. In 2003, they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Manufacturing Management from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Ganesh began their educational journey with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University, which they completed between 1994 and 1998. Before pursuing their Bachelor's degree, they completed Pre-University schooling at Vijaya College from 1992 to 1994 and completed their high school education at Vijaya High School from 1989 to 1992.

Besides their educational qualifications, Ganesh Prasad also holds additional certifications. Ganesh obtained PMC Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute in 2021 and earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2009.
