Jure Leskovec

Co-Founder & Chief Scientist at Kumo

Jure Leskovec is the co-founder and chief scientist of Kumo.AI, a company that uses artificial intelligence to help businesses make better decisions. Prior to Kumo, Jure was an associate professor at Stanford University for 12 years, where they also served as an assistant professor and investigator at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub. Jure has also served as the chief scientist at Pinterest and as a co-founder of Kosei, a company that was acquired by Pinterest. Jure has also worked as a post-doc at Cornell University and as a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University.

Jure Leskovec is a computer scientist who earned their Ph.D. in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008. Jure then completed a postdoc in Computer Science at Cornell University from 2008 to 2009. Jure also has a diploma in Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
