Myunghwan Kim

Myunghwan Kim has extensive work experience in software engineering and data science. Myunghwan began their career in 2003 as a Software Engineer at PIOLINK. From 2009 to 2012, they were a PhD student at Stanford University, where they studied social network models with auxiliary information such as node attributes and temporal information. In 2011 and 2012, they were a Summer Intern at eBay Research Labs and LinkedIn, respectively. From 2014 to 2019, they held various positions at LinkedIn, including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Staff Software Engineer. During this time, they served as an Applied ML Research Scientist. In 2019, they became the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Data Science at Mesh Korea Co., Ltd. Myunghwan is currently a Software Engineer at Kumo.AI.

Myunghwan Kim completed their B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Seoul National University from 2000 to 2003. After that, they attended Seoul Science High School from 1997 to 2000. In 2007, they began their PhD in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, and in 2010 they also obtained an MS in Statistics from Stanford University, which they completed in 2011.
