Ian Clark

Advisor at KUNGFU.AI

Ian Clark is a British entrepreneur and advisor who has co-founded and advised several successful startups, most notably OneSpot. Ian is currently an advisor at KUNGFU.AI.

Clark began their career in the early days of the internet, working for an internet cafe venture called Hands On Ltd. It was here that they first showed their aptitude for building software, developing a point-of-sale system that saved the company tens of thousands of dollars.

In 2012, they co-founded OneSpot, a realtime bidding engine for online advertising. OneSpot quickly grew to become one of the most successful startups in the space, due in large part to Clark's innovative engineering. Ian and their team built a scalable and flexible architecture that outperformed Google AdWords in head-to-head comparisons.

In 2015, Clark transitioned from their full-time role as CTO of OneSpot to an advisory role, where they continue to support the management team. Ian has also advised other startups, including Techstars and DataRobot.

Ian Clark attended The University of Edinburgh, where they received a Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.
