Ahmed Hussein

Ahmed Hussein is a Surgical Research & Innovation Director for the ER4Surgery project at the University of Eastern Finland since August 2023, working on collaboration between the department of Applied Physics and the Microsurgery Center of Eastern Finland. Concurrently, Ahmed serves as a Neurosurgeon Consultant and lecturer of Neurosurgery at Assiut University since June 2019 and holds the position of Clinical Coordinator at Kuopio University Hospital since March 2018. Prior experience includes a Neurosurgery Resident and House Officer at Assiut University from March 2006 to June 2012. Academic achievements include multiple fellowships in Neurovascular surgery, Endoscopic skull base surgery, and Minimally invasive skull base approaches, as well as two PhDs in Clinical Neurosurgery and Clinical Microsurgery, complemented by a Master's degree from Assiut University.
