Kamna Shastri

Kamna Shastri is an accomplished journalist and community outreach producer with extensive experience in media and engagement. Currently serving as a Community Outreach Producer at KUOW Public Radio and a Solutions Journalism Network JOC Fellow, Kamna has previously held roles including Content Manager at the Washington Environmental Council and a Mid-career Reporting Fellow at NPR Code Switch. As a freelancer, Kamna contributed regularly to The Seattle Globalist and other notable publications. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Communications Leadership from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies/Sociology from Whitman College.
