Process Engineer II at Kurt J. Lesker Company

Nick Franzer has a diverse work experience in the fields of process engineering and research and development. Nick started their career at the Wright Center for Photovoltaics Innovation and Commercialization as a Research Assistant, where they gained hands-on experience with deposition systems and analytical equipment. Nick then joined Pilkington N.A. Development Center as a Research and Development Intern, where they led a project on thin-film physical vapor deposition process development. In 2016, they joined the Kurt J. Lesker Company as a Laboratory Technician and later progressed to become a Process Engineer I and then a Process Engineer II. Currently, they are working at KDF Technologies, LLC as a Process Engineer. Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated skills in problem-solving, project management, experimental design, and report presentation.

Nick Franzer earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Applied Physics from The University of Toledo, where they attended from 2012 to 2014. Nick later pursued a Master's Degree in Physics at the same university, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016.
