Julian Steenkamp

Julian Steenkamp has over 12 years of work experience in software engineering. Julian most recently worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Kurtosys since June 2022. Prior to that, Julian was the Country Platforms Team Lead at IoT.nxt from November 2021 to June 2022. Julian also served as a Senior Software Engineer at Blueport Solutions (Pty) Ltd from March 2021 to November 2021. Julian's earlier roles include Senior Software Engineering at DataOrbis from April 2016 to March 2021, and Senior Software Engineer at Ecentric Payment Systems from March 2012 to March 2016. Julian began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at COMPRSA from January 2010 to February 2012.

Julian Steenkamp obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they studied from 2009 to 2015. In addition, they also achieved a certification in Microsoft Technology Associate: Software Development Fundamentals (MTA) from Microsoft in November 2017.
