Andreas Matalis

Andreas Matalis is a skilled professional in the field of biosystems engineering, currently serving as a Service Engineer at Kverneland Group since March 2019, after previously holding the position of Junior Service Engineer. Andreas gained valuable experience as an intern in the IMS department at Rijk Zwaan, where the focus was on utilizing computer vision techniques to analyze melon characteristics. Prior to that, Andreas contributed as an Assistant Researcher intern at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, engaging in precision agriculture research related to plant disease segmentation through advanced imaging methods. Early experience includes a lab assistant internship at Agrolab, conducting soil and water chemical analyses. Andreas holds a Master of Science in Biosystems Engineering from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
